This is the personal website of Lawrence Chan. I am an embedded systems developer and amateur photographer who also likes to travel, either by backpacking and/or bicycling. This website shows some of my adventures over the years as well as some of my interests.
I particularly like to take panoramas and photographs of unusual things so, hopefully, you too will find something of interest or amusement on this website.

The images, stories, and product reviews are all original material that is based upon my actual experiences (or as clearly as I can remember it and with some added humour thrown in). However, I do not imply or make any claims as to what you can expect to find in similar situations. As always, conditions may change, businesses may come and go, and currencies may fluctuate (or disappear altogether) so please do your own research if you need more up-to-date and accurate information.
Where possible, I have also included links to additional information. However, you should not consider this to be an endorsement of any kind and other, perhaps more appropriate, sources of information may also be available.

This website has been tested with and is best viewed using either the Firefox or Opera web browsers. IE8 or above may also been used but you may notice some quirks in the CSS rendering.
